About Us:
Lift Communications is a design and illustration studio in Portland, Oregon. Our primary focus is branding work, which includes the development of logos and identity systems, product packaging, print collateral and other marketing materials, as well as large-scale environmental graphics, book design and websites. We strive to create intelligent, conceptual work for companies large and small.
Prior to launching Lift in 1999, creative director and illustrator Amy Johnson spent several years in both ad agency and design firm settings, including employment at Wieden+Kennedy, working primarily on Nike, and at Sandstrom Design, where she spent most of her hours on projects for Tazo tea. Johnson holds a BFA in Visual Communications.
